24th Annual Southern Festival of Books
Humanities Tennessee's Southern Festival of Books was first held in Nashville on the second full weekend in October, 1989, and has been held annually on the same weekend since then. It is the original book festival, A Celebration of the Written Word, and has inspired hundreds of similar book festivals throughout the nation and beyond.
The festival is free and open to the public. No advance registration or tickets are required. All seating is on a first-come basis.
The dates and times for the 24th annual Southern Festival of Books dates and times are:
- Friday, October 12, 2012: 12:00 noon - 6:00 p.m.
- Saturday, October 13, 2012: 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
- Sunday, October 14, 2012: 12:00 noon -5:00 p.m.
